The ANPR Platform is the server component of an ANPR deployment. It manages the camera estate, receives plate events from the recognition engine, stores them with their evidence images, and applies the rules that turn a raw read into an action — open a barrier, raise an alert, start a parking session, or create a violation record.

Where it sits

Cameras and the recognition engine feed the platform; the platform feeds parking, enforcement, access control and any third-party system through its REST API and webhooks. Operators work in the platform's console; end users normally never see it.

Deployment

Runs on Windows Server or Linux, on-premises or in a private cloud. Sizing depends on lane count, retention period and image storage policy — your integrator will scope it against the site survey.

Capabilities

Camera and lane management

Register cameras, group them into lanes and sites, and manage credentials and health from one console.

Event store with evidence

Every read is stored with plate string, timestamp, lane, confidence and the associated evidence images.

Watchlists and rules

Allow, deny and watch lists with scheduled rules that decide what happens on a match.

REST API and webhooks

Push events to parking, enforcement, ERP or city systems as they happen.

Operator console

Live lane view, event search, manual correction and audit of who changed what.

Retention policy

Configurable retention for events and images so storage matches the site's legal requirements.

Specifications

Specifications are maintained from the product database. Deployment-specific figures depend on hardware, camera placement and network conditions — your integrator will size the system.

Frequently asked questions

Does the platform include the recognition engine?

They are licensed separately so you can size them independently — a site can run several engine instances against one platform. Most deployments license both.

Can it use our existing cameras?

It can consume ONVIF and RTSP streams from general-purpose cameras, and it also supports dedicated LPR cameras. Whether a given camera is suitable depends on mounting geometry, lighting and lens choice; your integrator assesses that during the site survey.

How is it licensed?

Per lane, as a perpetual licence with optional annual maintenance. Your integrator provides the commercial proposal.
