Privacy policy
This document is a starting template prepared for the CityIntegrator platform. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer in each jurisdiction you operate in before launch — regional data-protection requirements in the GCC, UK and EU differ materially.
Who we are
CityIntegrator supplies Smart City software to system integrators. This policy covers cityintegrator.com and the partner portal. It does not cover deployments our partners operate for their own customers — in those, the partner or the end customer is the data controller.
What we collect
- Enquiry data — name, business email, phone, company, country and the requirement you describe when you request a quote or demo.
- Partner application data — company details and contact information submitted when applying to the programme.
- Account data — for portal users: name, email, role, company and sign-in history.
- Usage data — pages viewed, referrer and campaign parameters. Analytics cookies are not set until you accept them.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and route it to a certified integrator in your territory
- To assess partner applications and operate the partner programme
- To provide the portal, licensing and support services
- To improve the website and our content
Who we share it with
When you submit an enquiry and ask for a local integrator, we share your enquiry with the matched certified partner so they can contact you. We tell you this at the point of submission. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Retention is configurable per data class and is set out in our internal retention policy. Business records — leads, deals, quotes, tickets — are archived rather than deleted so that commercial history stays intact. Logs and webhook payloads are pruned on a shorter cycle.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion where we have no overriding legal or contractual basis to keep it. Contact privacy@cityintegrator.com.
