Partner certification

Certification is how CityIntegrator knows an integrator can actually deploy a product, and it is the single largest controllable factor in how many leads you receive.

How it works

1. An engineer enrols in the product track in the partner portal.
2. They work through the lessons — architecture, installation, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting.
3. They take the assessment. The pass mark is published per course.
4. On passing, a certificate is issued to the engineer and a certification is recorded against your company.

Grading

Certifications are graded associate, professional and expert. Higher grades weight more heavily in lead routing.

Expiry and renewal

Certifications carry an expiry date. When a product has a major release, the certification for the previous major version continues until its expiry, after which the engineer re-certifies against the current version.

Verification

Every certificate has a number that anyone can check at /certificates/verify — useful when a customer asks you to evidence your team's qualifications during a tender.

Assessment integrity

Assessments are graded server-side and attempts are limited. Correct answers are never sent to the browser.
